CINESPACE CHICAGO FILM STUDIOS
Cinespace Chicago Film Studios is a subsidiary of the Toronto Corporation, specializing in the development, management and operation of film studio facilities. CFS purchased the Ryerson Steel Campus on the southwest side of Chicago, which covers 48 acres; 1.2 million square foot of building under roof. Forza Design was hired under direction from Cinespace to design and plan a mass renovation of 9 existing structures, some of which are +100 years of age, ranging from 500,000 sqft to 20,000 sqft, to be dedicated to the film, television, & digital media studio productions.
LAGUNITAS BREWERY
Forza Design was commissioned to Design, Permit, & Construction Manage Lagunitas Brewery. Lagunitas is a craft brewery originating out of southern California that opened a distribution facility roughly 305,000 sqft in the City of Chicago. The company is the fifth top selling craft brewery in the US. This facility is equipped with two, 250 barrel brew house’s, which will have a 1.2 million barrel capacity. The state of the art facility is equipped with an elevated 8,000 sqft tasting room & restaurant, which is connected by a system of sky bridges that overlook all the brewery operation & equipment. The project has been evolving from its original inception. The newest additions have recently included a 25,000 sqft robotic cold storage area and 15,000 sqft event / concert space, known as the Lagunitas Amphitheater.
LOCAL 502 CEMENT MASONS TRAINING CENTER
Forza Design was commissioned to Design & Build a Training Center for the Local 502 Cement Masons located in Bellwood IL. The Training Center has incorporated multiple classrooms, and training areas which concrete finishers and plasterers learn and master the art of their trades.
CERMAK & DES PLAINES SHOPPING CENTER
Forza Design was commissioned to Design & Permit a Commercial Strip Center. The site formerly housed a gas station with 4,000 sqft garage. Using the existing structure, we redesigned and cut openings into the existing facade, & adding a 7,000 sqft addition, cladding the entire project in new masonry making it ascetically pleasing
